Snow returns to Bosnia and Herzegovina: Krajina turns white

(Patria) - A cold front hit northern Bosnia and Herzegovina in the afternoon, bringing strong to stormy north winds, a sudden drop in temperature, and local rain and thunderstorms, as well as snow.

In the coming hours, the cold front will gradually move south of our country, meteorologists announced on the BH Meteo Facebook page.

Tonight, with the formation of a cyclone west of us, precipitation is expected to intensify in our regions. From tonight until tomorrow afternoon, there will be precipitation in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With further temperature drops, sleet and snow may locally occur in the lowlands of Bosnia during Wednesday night or Wednesday morning.

In higher areas, above 600/700 meters above sea level, a snow cover of 2 to 10 cm is locally expected by Wednesday afternoon.

Snow has already started to fall in Krajina. Bosanski Novi has turned white, as well as Cazin, from where we are receiving photos and videos that we have shared on our X platform.
