Snow and strong winds are hindering traffic in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - It is snowing in western and some central parts of Bosnia, but for now, it is not accumulating on the roads. In Bosnia, roads are wet and occasionally slippery, while in Herzegovina, it is mostly dry. In the southwestern part of Bosnia, strong gusts of wind are causing difficulties for drivers. Fog is reducing visibility on the following routes: Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Ripač-Bosanski Petrovac, and Lanište-Ključ. We urge all drivers to drive with maximum caution and to maintain a safe distance between vehicles. Do not travel without winter equipment.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (from 11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

Due to works in the Skela tunnel, on the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (from 10 PM to 6 AM) and diverted to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory loop).

Traffic is slowed down due to works on the following routes: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (section from Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, traffic on the Foča-Goražde main road section (in Filipovići) is slowed down, using only one lane.

At the Bosanska Gradiška and Gradina border crossings, there is a long queue of vehicles exiting Bosnia and Herzegovina. At other border crossings, waiting times are shorter.
