Severe storm hits Karlovac

In the severe storm that ravaged Karlovac late last night within an hour, the Karlovac General Hospital was also affected. As reported by KAportal, some women from the maternity ward were moved to the other side of the department as a precautionary measure. The hospital's windows were shattered, and the wind also tore off the roof, reports the Patria news agency.  

The damage is enormous, says the hospital's restructuring director, Dr. Suad Crnicna. 

-Indeed, the damage is truly enormous. How much, we will be able to say more tomorrow, but at least a third of the roof has been blown off. Fortunately, there are no injuries, neither among the staff nor among the patients, and that is what matters most, he said for KAportal.
