SPLIT, (Patria) - A strong earthquake hit Dalmatia, according to data from the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, shook the area around Split.
The epicentre was 36 kilometres from Split, and it lasted between 5 and 15 seconds.
According to data from seismological instruments, the earthquake was also felt in Bosnia and Herzegovina, confirmed by the Republic Hydrometeorological Institute of the Republika Srpska.
So far, there is no information on damage or potential casualties.
