SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Residents of Split and its surroundings were woken up tonight at 3:08 AM by a strong earthquake, which lasted about seven seconds.
The magnitude of the tremor was 4 degrees on the Richter scale, and the intensity at the epicenter was 5 degrees on the Mercalli-Cancani-Sieberg (MCS) scale.
As Splitski Dnevnik writes, the ground shaking was felt in the wider Sinj area, and even in Split, where many Split residents testified that they were woken up by a rather strong ground shaking.
Information about any material damage is still unknown.
