
(Patria) - A strong earthquake hit the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina this morning.
The tremor occurred around 9:20 AM and was felt in the wider Sarajevo area.

Initial data from the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) showed the earthquake's magnitude at 4 degrees, but the magnitude was later revised to 1.6 degrees on the Richter scale.
EMSC changed the magnitude again, which according to their measurements is 4.2 degrees on the Richter scale.
The epicenter of the tremor was recorded 11 kilometers northeast of Sarajevo, at a depth of six kilometers.
