(Patria) - Residents of the Municipality of Vogosca who use central heating from the company BAGS-Energotehnika once again want to express their outrage over the situation regarding the supply of thermal energy.
They remind that this season, which legally began on October 15, they only had heating for one day, and that was after numerous pressures and meetings.
"The authorities of Sarajevo Canton apparently consider the residents of Vogosca less important because residents of the priority part of Sarajevo Canton have been in warm apartments since September 30. Do Prime Minister Nihad Uk and the Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection Bojan Bošnjak think that Vogosca residents are hardened hillbillies compared to the delicate, more important voters to them, and even after 40 days since the users of Toplane Sarajevo have had heating, our problem is not even close to being resolved?
Although both the minister and the prime minister, pressured by journalists' questions, only repeat that they are working on finding solutions, we do not see the results of their work. The carelessness of the cantonal authorities is leading us into a situation where the only way out is to take off the gloves and use all available tools of struggle. Today we saw that BAGS repaired the malfunction on the heating pipeline, but the workers confirmed what we already knew. There is no heating because there is a lack of fuel oil. Did the cantonal authorities just bury Vogosca's heating in front of their favorite barbecue joint?
When citizens were at a meeting with Minister Bošnjak, he half-seriously mentioned that the Government had sent information to the director of BAGS, but he had not seen it because he had traveled out of the country for the weekend.
The minister followed the example he criticized, and after declaring an evacuation on Friday, November 1, and giving Vogosca residents the good news that heating would be turned on, he traveled to the white world, where, according to our information, he still is today. Yesterday, he tried to convince us via TV that he was intensely trying to find a solution and sympathized with us from well-appointed Scotland!
We openly ask the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton and the Minister in absentia: Why is urgent access to fuel oil from commodity reserves not secured for the heating needs of Vogosca, and then let them find whatever solutions they want? Is it true that the fuel oil is being kept because an alternative fuel is more desirable and important to them for the residents of KS?
We demand that the prime minister and minister address us today and tell us when we will get heating! Otherwise, we will organize a memorial gathering for the just-buried heating on Muje Šejte street and announce a series of citizen protests as soon as the minister returns home, if he intends to do so at all," the letter from the frozen residents of Vogosca states.
