Dismissal of Žika Krunić will not be on the agenda of the BiH Parliament after all

The Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has no consensus on the initiative of Dragan Mektić, Minister of Security of BiH, for the dismissal of Žika Krunić, Chairman of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, due to failure to fulfill obligations in the case of Goran Zubac, Director of SIPA, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Namely, Minister Mektić earlier this month submitted to the BiH Parliament an initiative for the dismissal of the Chairman of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Žika Krunić, stating that he does not fulfill his obligations, does not schedule sessions of the Independent Board of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH once a month, and has not proposed the dismissal of SIPA Director Goran Zubac, who was sentenced to one year of probation for the events of February 7, 2014.

Mektić also previously stated that the Independent Board should have proposed to the Council of Ministers of BiH the dismissal of Zubac, but that he is evidently under the protection of Žika Krunić.
