Dismissed Rector and Senate Endanger the Livelihoods of 300 Employees at the University of Zenica

(Patria) - The dismissed rector and Senate, who are illegally managing the University of Zenica, have jeopardized the livelihoods of 300 employees at the University of Zenica.

"The public should know two important facts. First, that the dismissed rector is misrepresenting himself, appropriating public documents, abusing his authority, and illegally managing the University.

And second, that the Senate refuses to do its job for which it is responsible, thereby violating the Law on Higher Education.

Both of these are in the process of determining criminal liability with the competent prosecutor's office.

When the Senate does its job, as required by law, the procedure for paying salaries in accordance with the law can commence on the same day.

Otherwise, the Government would be violating the law, which it does not wish to do in any way," announced the Press Service of the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
