Government of Tuzla Canton dismissed, new majority elects assembly leadership

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - At today's emergency session, the new assembly majority, which now has 18 representatives, voted no confidence in the Government of Tuzla Canton led by Prime Minister Denijal Tulumović.

As reported by Tuzlanski.ba, by automatism, all ministers in the previous government of Tuzla Canton have been dismissed as of today.

The new majority in Tuzla Canton consists of SDP, PDA, Naša stranka and SBB with 18 votes.

The new majority attempted to dismiss the Government of Tuzla Canton at an emergency session on December 16, but Žarko Vujović, President of the Tuzla Canton Assembly, raised the issue of protecting vital national interest, supported by Deputy Speaker Boris Krešić.

Dževad Hadžić, President of the SDP BiH Tuzla Municipal Board, scheduled a press conference in the Assembly building where more details and information will be announced.

Following the dismissal of the Tuzla Canton Government at today's session, a new President of the Assembly from the Serbian people and his deputy from the Croatian people were appointed. The first next step of the new assembly majority in Tuzla Canton is the adoption of the proposed budget or possibly the adoption of a decision on temporary financing, which would avoid a financial blockade and enable the normal functioning of institutions, reports Tuzlanski.ba.
