Osman ef. Kozlić dismissed due to irregularities during his tenure as Mufti of Banja Luka

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - By decision of the Riyaset of the Islamic Community of BiH, Osman ef. Kozlić has been dismissed from the position of Mufti of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Europe outside their home countries and the chief imam of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Germany.

Osman ef. Kozlić has been dismissed from these positions due to certain actions related to the period when he served as the Mufti of Banja Luka, in a manner that determined the appointee's actions in certain segments of his jurisdiction contrary to the regulations and decisions of the Islamic Community bodies, as well as the non-fulfillment of basic obligations in the position for which the appointee was appointed.

This dismissal was initiated within the bodies of the Islamic Community in BiH after publicist Fatmir Alispahić stated in his video address that Kozlić sold a cemetery in Banja Luka where a building of a "Serb tycoon" was constructed. Alispahić also asked who took out a multi-million loan and embezzled money.
