Smajić in Brussels: The trio from Banja Luka is trying to push BiH into an abyss, they belong in custody

(Patria) - During a visit to the European Union institutions in Brussels, where I am staying as part of the BiH parliamentary delegation, I spoke about the endangered security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, said Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Džemal Smajić (SBiH).

- I emphasized that it is unacceptable for a fugitive group of politicians who have carried out a coup against the constitutional and legal order of BiH to continue to enjoy the protection of entity police structures.

Dodik, Stevandić, and Višković are people who are trying to push Bosnia and Herzegovina into an abyss, which would endanger the security of the southeastern wing of NATO and the European Union. We need the support of EU institutions to deprive the fugitives of their freedom, because they have been ordered into custody - said Smajić.

He said that all other explanations and attempts to shift the ball from the legal to the political field are maneuvers that do not contribute to resolving the newly created situation.

- It is also important to emphasize that the attempt to impose the topic of changes to the Election Law in the direction of strengthening collective rights at the expense of European democratic principles did not receive support in Brussels.

Bosnia and Herzegovina needs a democratic constitution, not further divisions - added Smajić.
