Smajić: Only SIPA and the BiH Prosecutor's Office should communicate with Dodik

(Patria) - Following the decision of the Assembly of the smaller BiH entity on the Constitutional Court of BiH, there is no more room for any talks with the president of the BiH entity RS, Milorad Dodik, according to the delegate (Party for BiH) in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Džemal Smajić.

“The citizens of BiH feel humiliated because the BiH authorities show readiness to concede even after the most direct attack on the Dayton Agreement since the war. Only SIPA and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina should communicate with Dodik, not the political representatives of the so-called troika. When the legal ground shifts to the political one, only Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens can lose due to the undercapacity of those with whom Dodik negotiates,” Smajić stated.

Smajić warns that the country's constitutional order, as well as the Dayton Agreement, have been attacked.

“The High Representative has the final say in this case, who can resolve everything with a single signature. Otherwise, his stay in BiH would lose its meaning,” Smajić said.
