Smajić: Helez is incompetent, Serbia humiliates us with the approval of ministries led by the "Trojka" cadres

(Patria) - State delegate Džemal Smajić (SBiH) reacted to the statements of the BiH Minister of Defense Zukan Helez, who justified the arrival of Serbian soldiers on BiH territory. Smajić pointed out that the statement was shameful and inappropriate.

"Whether someone is a cadet or a soldier, wearing a Serbian uniform and waving a foreign country's flag, it's all the same. With this, Helez further undermines our country's reputation and shows elementary ignorance and confusion.

For a year now, I have been warning that this is an incompetent man leading the defense sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Helez has long claimed that BiH controls its airspace, only to admit a few weeks ago that control has yet to be established.

Besides Helez, his coalition partners Forto and Konaković are in the Council of Ministers, who participated in giving permission for a Serbian helicopter to fly to Trebinje, where the Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dačić, arrived to demonstrate that Serbia sovereignly rules the territory of the smaller BiH entity. The result of their work is the recent marching of members of the Serbian Army through Bosnian-Herzegovinian cities.

If it turns out, as is being written, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH was informed about the arrival of Serbian soldiers and did not warn the entire BiH public and competent authorities about it, then it is an act of treason of the highest order. The saddest thing in all of this is that the ministers of the "Trojka", as well as other high-ranking politicians of that coalition, do not understand international relations and Serbia's positioning in BiH through constant provocations. It is devastating that it often turns out that Serbia humiliates us with the signatures and approvals of the ministries of defense, foreign affairs, and transport and communications," Smajić stated in his reaction.
