Sutorina Case: The Ball is Now in the New Council of Ministers of BiH's Court

At the 5th session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH), conclusions of MP Saša Magazinović (SDP) regarding the Sutorina case were adopted, reports the BiH News Agency Patria.

Starting from the principle that we will not take what belongs to others, nor give away what is ours, in accordance with the BiH Constitution and international law, with the primary goal of preserving the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and wholeness of our country, the House of Representatives of the PSBiH states:

1. The Badinter Commission's report is an unquestionable part of international law with the force of an international judgment, and as one of the foundations of the Dayton Peace Agreement, it takes precedence over other acts of its kind, thereby guaranteeing the unquestionability of BiH's territorial integrity and wholeness within its internationally recognized borders.

2. The new Council of Ministers of BiH is tasked with, together with the State Border Commission, preparing three comprehensive, primarily legal, expert analyses, with consequences for BiH's interests, from the perspective of preserving its internationally recognized borders with Montenegro, Serbia, and Croatia. On these grounds, the House of Representatives will organize a public debate with the aim of signing border agreements with neighboring countries.
