Dragičević Case: Legal Team Holds Meeting with Lepir, No Details on Investigation

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - The international legal team working on the David Dragičević case held a meeting today with the chief prosecutor of the District Public Prosecutor's Office in Banja Luka, Želimir Lepir. The legal team includes Anto Nobilo, Ifet Feraget, Duško Tomoć, and Zora Dobričanin Nikodinović, who did not attend the meeting today but was informed about everything. They took over this case at the end of August. 

The legal team's decision is not to disclose details of the meetings so as not to jeopardize the investigation into the murder of David Dragičević. Six months have passed since the discovery of his body, and only at the beginning of July was the case classified as a murder by an unknown perpetrator. The family of the murdered young man has claimed from the very beginning that he was kidnapped, tortured, and ultimately brutally murdered, for which they directly blamed the top of the RS Police. 

Protest gatherings have been held on Krajina Square in Banja Luka throughout these months, and David's father, Davor Dragičević, stated that October 5 will be a key day. 

The legal team encountered fair cooperation from the competent prosecutor's office, and they were granted access to the case file and evidence available to the prosecution. Due to the passage of time, it is important to intensify the investigation in order to bring the perpetrators to justice. 

Nobilo, Feraget, and Tomić also met with Davor Dragičević today.
