Slovenian President Borut Pahor in Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Slovenian President Borut Pahor is visiting Sarajevo, and today he will meet with the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Milorad Dodik and member of the Presidency of BiH Šefik Džaferović.

Pahor arrived in Sarajevo to attend the Sarajevo Business Forum, which is being held from April 17 to 19. The Slovenian president was also one of the speakers at the SBF last year, stating that BiH cannot remain outside the European Union for long, as it would represent a security challenge for the country and the region. 

At the invitation of the South East European Youth Network (SEEYN) and the Incubator of Social Innovations "MUNJA", the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor will hold a dialogue with representatives of youth and organizations working with youth today at 6 PM on the topic "Youth Perspectives and Joint Cooperation in BiH". Participants will share their experiences and their view of life in a post-conflict country with President Pahor, and talk about creating a new vision and perspective for joint life in BiH. The focus will be on the impact of education on young people's attitudes, on political responsibility for statements made in the public sphere, how to create a space where young people will be employable and have a normal life, and how to create peace and synergy between different peoples through cooperation and social innovations for a country that needs to have a bright future for new generations.
