Slovenian Police Intercepted Conversations: "Cezar" Ordered Rocket Attack on Maribor Prison

(Patria) - Dino Muzaferović, known as "Cezar," planned an attack on the prison in Maribor, Istraga.ba has learned.

"Cezar" ordered his associates to fire rockets at the prison walls to demolish them, after which he could escape.

He coordinated the operation via a phone he used in his cell, where he has been detained since December last year, after being arrested on suspicion of organizing the murder of Satko Kekić in Ljubljana.

For communication with members of his criminal group, "Cezar" used the Olvid application.

Slovenian police raided the Maribor prison on Monday afternoon. During the search, a phone was found, used for organizing the attack on the prison, as well as other criminal activities.

According to Istraga's information, "Cezar" also organized a criminal group through his associates in Slovenia, which would fire at guards with automatic weapons during the rocket attack.

Dino Muzaferović decided on this action after it became clear to him that the Slovenian judiciary had gathered enough evidence directly linking him to the murder of Satko Kekić, a BiH citizen who was killed in Ljubljana last November.

Namely, two protected witnesses, BiH citizens, gave statements to the Slovenian police in which they, as informants, recounted all the details about the activities of "Cezar's" group in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Slovenia, as well as other EU countries.

Parts of the testimony of one of the protected witnesses were published by the Slovenian newspaper Večer on Monday morning, while Istraga gathered information about the testimony of another witness who decided to speak out after Muzaferović ordered his murder.

Based on the testimony of these two witnesses, it can be concluded that "Cezar" had already attempted rocket attacks.

"Dino once told me that he was very angry that Satko Zovko (Satko Kekić) stole his money and drugs, and that he would bring people from Serbia and Montenegro who would fire 4 rockets at Satko Zovko's house with a rocket launcher called 'Zolja'.

Each person would fire their own rocket. Dino told me that last year, when Satko Zovko (Satko Kekić) was at home, he hired security guards to protect him and the house.

In addition to the guards, Satko Zovko installed cameras all over the house. All these cameras were financed by Dejan Torić.

Dino Muzaferović said he would pay each of these four individuals 10,000 euros, totaling 40,000 euros, which is how much Dino Muzaferović earns from selling drugs and weapons in a single week," stated the protected witness's testimony to the Slovenian judiciary.

According to the protected witness's testimony, Dino Muzaferović often disguised himself while staying in the Črnuče neighborhood of Ljubljana, where he hid even after the murder of Satko Kekić.

"He used silicone masks. Such a mask costs between 250 and 300 euros. Dino Muzaferović had at least three such masks. I saw those masks.

That day, Dino Muzaferović and Mehmed Pajazetović were talking about Satko Zovko. Dino Muzaferović said that Satko Zovko had called him, telling him that he would leave the protected witness program and that he wanted everything to return to normal.

This happened a month or a month and a half before Dino Muzaferović's trial, and Satko Zovko was supposed to testify against him," said the witness.

After being arrested and detained, "Cezar" also organized criminal activities from prison, using a phone.

"Mehmed Pajazetović was the navigator, he coordinated us couriers, meaning me, Osman Koštić, Hasib Šakanović, and Jasmin Ponjević. Everything went through him. He gave us all the instructions.

Dino Muzaferović only joined the communication when something went wrong. I can say that Mehmed Pajazetović is employed in Slovenia and drives a truck. He has two or three phones for communication with us.

I don't know where he lives in Slovenia. I have met him at least twenty times and would recognize him from a photo. Mehmed Pajazetović knows where I live in Velika Kladuša.

The last time I was at the police station in Bihać (March 24, 2025) and didn't answer his calls, he sent Haris Mujakić (nickname Paja) to my house.

He told my wife that I had made a serious mistake because I wasn't answering the phone," said the protected witness.

Most of the time, the witness claims, they communicated via Olvid, as it is not possible to take screenshots through this application, and messages disappear after 25-30 seconds.

"Dino Muzaferović only joins the communication after 3:00 PM and is active until approximately 10:00 PM. Despite Dino's availability, all work coordination is done by Mehmed Pajazetović.

I estimate that Dino Muzaferović is available on the phone after 3:00 PM due to reduced surveillance in the prison.

Dino Muzaferović joins the communication every time a problem arises. On the Olvid application, his nickname is ILIRIAN BATO," stated the protected witness.

He decided to testify that, on "Cezar's" orders, Mehmed Pajazetović called him and told him that he had to transport people who would kill Hasib Šakanović.

"Two Šakanović brothers owe Dino a large sum of money, Hasib approximately 60,000 euros, and Damir, the eldest brother who is in prison, around 80,000 euros. Mehmed told me that he heard from Dino that the Šakanović brothers had entered the witness protection program in Slovenia.

Dino thinks that the Šakanović brothers would be the ones to testify against him in court. On March 28, 2025, Pajazetović sent me this message on March 13, 2025, to which I replied: 'Okay,' and he replied that we had to resolve this.

He didn't offer me anything in return. I only discussed this with Mehmed Pajazetović, and Mehmed Pajazetović received instructions from Dino. I say that Mehmed Pajazetović delivered another 200 grams of cocaine to me two days after he delivered those two pistols.

The cocaine was packaged in 4x50 gram portions. The first time, Dino Muzaferović gave me the same amount of cocaine, i.e., 200 grams. Then, following Mehmed Pajazetović's instructions, I gave that cocaine to Hasib Šakanović, Damir Šakanović - 'DAKI', and Nermin Ćufurović, who was friends with Hasib Šakanović.

In mid-February 2025, Dino Muzaferović sent me to the fourth Šakanović brother - Amir Šakanović, who sells the most heroin. He sent me there with the intention of offering him a supply of heroin from Dino Muzaferović.

When I arrived in the yard, Amir chased me away and didn't want to talk to me. I told him that Dino Muzaferović had sent me to supply him with heroin.

Amir said he would only discuss it through his brother Hasib. Mehmed Pajazetović told me that the deadline for the murder of the Šakanović brothers was Friday, March 28, 2025, when the brothers would have a hearing and testify anonymously.

Mehmed Pajazetović did not tell me exactly who the Šakanović brothers would testify against, but I think they would testify against Dino Muzaferović.

I conclude that the Šakanović brothers certainly have a lot of information about Dino Muzaferović and his criminal activities. Hasib is a courier like me, and has been in the organization much longer than I have.

I absolutely did not want to participate in the murder, but I could not simply refuse. You cannot refuse Dino Muzaferović by saying you will not do something. Despite Mehmed Pajazetović telling me about the murder of the Šakanović brothers, it is clear that Dino Muzaferović ordered it.

All orders that Mehmed Pajazetović conveyed were issued by Dino Muzaferović. I started making excuses that I didn't have a passport and explained that I couldn't just be absent from work and couldn't go to Slovenia.

Regarding the passport, Mehmed Pajazetović told me that I would go to Slovenia illegally anyway, across the Glina River (border between Bosnia and Croatia), where someone would be waiting for me and take me to Slovenia by vehicle.

At that moment, he didn't give me any other specific instructions and said I would receive all instructions later, after crossing the Glina River. Because of the murder order and the increasing pressure on me to start selling drugs in the Velika Kladuša area, I surrendered myself to the police.

I simply had no more excuses not to do it. But you cannot refuse Dino Muzaferović, because there will be consequences. I can say that 90 percent of us members who are active in the group are afraid of Dino Muzaferović.

After about 3 days, Mehmed Pajazetović contacted me again via the Olvid application and asked in a message 'what are we going to do about the brothers'.

I replied that I was at work. From that day on, the talk about the murder of the brothers did not continue. As pressure on me, I would like to say that Haris Mujakić, nicknamed 'PAJIN', came to my house on the evening of March 24, 2025, and called my wife. This was because I wasn't answering the phone, as I was at the police station seeking help and a way out of the situation.

Haris Mujakić spoke to my wife via the intercom. My wife immediately called me and connected me with Haris Mujakić via the intercom and her phone, so we could talk. Haris Mujakić told me that Mehmed Pajazetović had sent him to tell me that I had 'messed something up'.

Furthermore, I got his phone number, called him, and told him that he should no longer come to my house and harass my 'wife'. I believe that such pressure on me and my family will only increase. Also, on March 23, 2025, between approximately 02:30 and 03:30, someone came to my house and rang the intercom. I asked who it was, but no one answered, and I heard male voices in the distance. Since I did not want to participate in the murder of Haris Šakanović, and the pressure on me was increasing, and since I know that the consequences of my non-cooperation would be severe, because I am afraid and know what Dino Muzaferović is capable of, I saw the only possible way to leave Dino's group by trusting the police and seeking their help.

Dino Muzaferović had ordered, some time ago, through Jasmin Ponjević, that I be beaten. In a hideout in Bosnia, cocaine worth 6,000 euros ran out. Jasmin Ponjević suspected me of the cocaine shortage, but he himself stole the cocaine and gambled away the money with his wife," stated the protected witness.
