Freedom Days of Bužim: Komšić and Bećirović at the central event

(Patria) - On the occasion of the anniversary of the formation of the 505th Knightly Brigade, the Chairman of the BiH Presidency Željko Komšić visited Bužim.

Komšić is attending the Freedom Days event of the knightly town of Bužim. Earlier, Komšić laid flowers at the grave of General Nanić, and he is also attending the central event of the Freedom Days of the knightly town of Bužim.

BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović is also in Bužim.

Bećirović laid flowers at the grave of the famous commander and paid his respects, it was announced from the Cabinet of the BiH Presidency member.

For his heroism and contribution to the defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Izet Nanić was awarded the wartime military decoration Golden Lily, and posthumously received the highest wartime recognition "Order of the Hero of the Liberation War" and was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General.

After paying respects to the hero of the defense-liberation war, General Izet Nanić, Denis Bećirović spoke with the Mayor of Bužim Municipality, Mersudin Nanić.

Mayor Nanić informed Bećirović about the current situation in Bužim Municipality, as well as about the "Freedom Days of the Knightly Town of Bužim 2023" event.

This evening, as part of the Freedom Days of Knightly Bužim, the futsal tournament "Izet Nanić" concluded, and in the past days, there were also many events in this town dedicated to the anniversary of the founding of the 505th Knightly Brigade.
