Construction of Zenica North - Zenica West highway begins next week

JP Autoceste FBiH is starting a new investment cycle for the construction of the highway on Corridor Vc. The contract has been signed, and the construction of the Zenica North – Zenica West highway section will begin next week, it was announced from this company, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

As stated by the director of Autoceste FBiH, Ensad Karić, this section is a continuation of the highway construction towards the north of our country.

- The construction work, as well as supervision over the construction of the highway on the mentioned section, has been awarded to domestic companies: Hering d.d. Široki Brijeg and Divel d.o.o. Sarajevo - Karić said.

The construction deadline is 30 months, and the most significant structures are the Perin Han viaduct, the Drivuša bridge, and the Klopče viaduct.

- At the beginning of next year, the construction of the highway to Donja Gračanica will continue. For the completion of the Zenica bypass, land acquisition has been completed, as well as the procedure for securing funds for construction. This is the beginning of a new investment cycle for the construction of an additional 80 kilometers of highway - Karić emphasized.
