Among twenty-seven coaches from all over the world who applied for the position of coach of the Ethiopian national team is Vladimir Slišković, son of former BiH coach Blaž Slišković, reports the Patria News Agency. Namely, the Football Federation of Ethiopia announced a competition after Sewnet Bishaw in early February.
Junedin Basha, president of the Football Federation of Ethiopia, stated that only two Ethiopians applied for the coach position: Wubetu Abate and Yohannes Tesema. Among the applicants are also two Serbians, Goran Stevanović and Ljubo Petrović.
- We are satisfied with the interest shown for the vacant position. The application process is now closed, and we will immediately proceed with the selection and creation of a shortlist of candidates - said Junedin.
Vladimir was born in 1983 and actively played football, having played for several Croatian clubs as well as for the BiH team Zrinjski.
