Images from Jajce to tour the world again: Dives from Europe's most beautiful waterfall

The waterfall in Jajce will once again be in the eyes of the world public today. More than 30 elite divers are coming to compete who will perform a better jump from one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe. Among them is the world champion in high diving, Colombian Orlando Duque. The dives begin at 4 PM.

The director of the Agency for Cultural-Historical and Natural Heritage and Development of Tourist Potentials of the City of Jajce, Huso Hadžić, told the Patria news agency that the dives in Jajce are not just a promotion of this royal city. A positive image of Bosnia and Herzegovina goes out into the world.

In addition to Colombian Duque, the most successful divers from Denmark, Germany, Slovenia, Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are coming to Jajce on Saturday, and confirmation is expected from the best diver from Kosovo and Italy.
Last year, more than 5,000 people watched the dives from the Jajce waterfall on site.

About 21 meters high, formed at the confluence of the Pliva and Vrbas rivers, the waterfall in Jajce is, according to many assessments, among the ten most beautiful waterfalls in the world. It is among the rare waterfalls located in the very center of the city. The dives from the Jajce waterfall represent one of the most interesting and attractive diving platforms in this part of Europe.
