A picture is worth a thousand words: Lagumdžija gives direct support to SDA and Izetbegović

Zlatko Lagumdžija, former president of SDP BiH, and Bakir Izetbegović, leader of SDA, are seen together more and more often, confirming earlier stories that all their "wars" were agreed upon, writes the Patria news agency.

Lagumdžija being photographed in the company of Izetbegović and his wife Sebija Izetbegović is a clear message that Lagumdžija, as a marketing genius, should know – this photograph is direct support for SDA, but also for Bakir Izetbegović's policies.

The fact that this friendship has lasted for years is also evidenced by the increasingly frequent "chance" visits of Lagumdžija to Izetbegović's office, and the cordial meetings in the midst of the election campaign do not surprise those who are well-acquainted with the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The incident from 2014, when the dismissal of Lagumdžija from the Council of Ministers was initiated, is still recounted today, and the alliance and tacit agreement between the then leaders of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Zlatko Lagumdžija and Bakir Izetbegović, remained firm, despite the fact that SDA supported Lagumdžija's dismissal from the position of head of diplomacy.

Lagumdžija himself stated at the time that he cooperated with Izetbegović in everything that was in the interest of the citizens, and an example of this is the investment package offered to Qatar. None of it was ever realized.

Some analysts have assessed that Zlatko Lagumdžija and Bakir Izetbegović have something in common, which is that they are politicians who easily make promises to the people in public appearances, which they do not fulfill later. Such a thing, it is easy to conclude, is not permissible and is not a characteristic of great statesmen.
