Assembly of Sarajevo Canton returns to parliamentary benches, pays tribute to victims in Prijedor

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – The Assembly of Sarajevo Canton has finally returned to the parliamentary benches after several months, and the session is being held in the hall of the Federal Parliament in order to comply with epidemiological measures. 

28 deputies are attending the session.

The agenda includes the current epidemiological situation, the Proposal of the Law on Punishment of Hate Speech, the Draft Law on Ministries and Other Administrative Bodies of Sarajevo Canton.

Also to be discussed are reports on the work and financial operations of the Health Insurance Institute of Sarajevo Canton for 2020, the Public Institution Health Center of Sarajevo Canton for 2020; the Public Institution Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance of Sarajevo Canton for 2020; the Public Institution Psychiatric Hospital of Sarajevo Canton for 2020; the Public Institution Institute for Health Protection of Women and Motherhood of Sarajevo Canton for 2020; the Public Institution “Apoteke Sarajevo” for 2020; the Public Institution Institute for Health Protection of Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton for 2020; the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo for 2020; the Public Institution "Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton" Sarajevo for the period 01.01. - 31.12.2020, with appendices and the Report on the execution of the financial plan of revenues and expenditures of the Public Institution "Employment Service of Sarajevo Canton" Sarajevo for the period 01.01. - 31.12.2020.

Before the adoption of the agenda, at the initiative of Mahir Dević, head of the SDA Club, a minute of silence and the recitation of Fatiha paid tribute to the victims of Prijedor.
