KS Assembly to hold extraordinary session on September 28: Sarajevo water supply only agenda item

The Collegium of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly agreed at today's session that an extraordinary session of this cantonal legislative body on the state of water supply will be held on Thursday, September 28 this year.

As announced, this session will consider the proposal of concrete measures that the KS Government will undertake in the coming period to resolve this burning issue for the residents of Sarajevo.

Members of the collegium at the same session also agreed that the continuation of the 32nd and 33rd working sessions will be held on Monday, October 2, 2017, starting at 10:00 AM.

As determined today, the continuation will consider the only remaining agenda item – deputies' questions and initiatives, while within the agenda of the new 33rd session, deputies will discuss the proposed amendments to the Law on Declaring Mourning in Sarajevo Canton, the law on amendments to the Law on Providing Free Legal Aid, and the law on amendments to the Law on Protection of Rights of National Minorities in Sarajevo Canton, all under an urgent procedure.

The same session will also include the Proposal of the Law on Amendments to the Law on Taking Over, Amendments and Additions to the Law on Renting Business Buildings and Premises under an abbreviated procedure.

Among other things, deputies at this session will consider the Report on the Work and Financial Operations of the Sarajevo Canton Health Insurance Fund, as well as the reports on the work and financial operations of 11 public health institutions for 2016, and the business reports of six cantonal public utility companies for last year, namely: "Tržnice-pijace" d.o.o. Sarajevo, "Rad" d.o.o. Sarajevo, "Pokop" d.o.o. Sarajevo, "Sarajevogas" d.o.o. Sarajevo, "Park" d.o.o. Sarajevo, and "Toplane-Sarajevo" d.o.o. Sarajevo.
