KS Assembly supported the reports of all utility companies for 2022

(Patria) - The Assembly of Sarajevo Canton today adopted the business reports of all cantonal utility companies for 2022, which included the work of "Vodovod i kanalizacija", Rad", "Park", "Pokop", "Toplane Sarajevo", "Sarajevogas" and the company "Tržnice-pijace".

Numerous questions and discussions held on these reports once again pointed to the importance of the functioning of the entire utility sector. Significant progress was recognized in improving the provision of utility services to citizens during the reporting period, but shortcomings and weak points of this complex system were also identified. Discussions were held on the need for better integration and coordination of individual companies when necessary, on the dynamics of reconstruction of the water supply and sewage network, and on the personnel and material needs of the companies. The need for more efficient coordination of the Employment Service in providing seasonal workers for certain utility jobs was also expressed.

The directors of public institutions in the field of culture also presented their business reports to the deputies and the public today in the third part of the session, namely: Sarajevo War Theatre - SARTR, Sarajevo Philharmonic, MES – International Theatre Festival – Scene MESS, Youth Theatre Sarajevo, Chamber Theatre 55, Collegium Artisticum, Bosnian Cultural Centre, Historical Archive Sarajevo, Library Sarajevo, Museum "Alija Izetbegović", and the Cantonal Institute for the Protection of Cultural, Historical and Natural Heritage.

The discussion on these reports has concluded, and the vote on them will take place in the continuation of this session, which is announced for tomorrow, February 21, 2022, as well as further work on the remaining agenda of the 11th working session of the KS Assembly.
