KS Assembly continues discussion on security situation in KS

(Patria) - The second continuation of the emergency session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly on the topic of security in Sarajevo Canton will be held today starting at 10 AM.

The session began on March 29, and the first continuation was held on Thursday, April 4.

A large number of deputies participated in the discussion, posing numerous questions to the Minister of Internal Affairs of KS Admir Katica, Police Commissioner Fatmir Hajdarević, and also to the KS Prosecutor's Office regarding some specific cases that occurred in Sarajevo.
Both Katica and Hajdarević claim that the security situation in Sarajevo is good, and the commissioner specifically emphasized that there are no organized groups in Sarajevo "that kill and grind people" as is the case in the region.

Traffic safety was also particularly discussed, as well as reckless driving, which should be treated as a criminal offense.

If the discussion concludes today, the adoption of a series of conclusions is expected, which would improve the security situation in KS, as well as the work of the police itself.
