KS Assembly Appointed Acting Assembly of VIK for Three Months

At the request of the KS Government, a collegium was held which accepted the Government's proposal to hold an urgent session of the KS Assembly regarding the situation in KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija, writes Patria Agency. 

Deputies in the KS Assembly accepted the KS Government's proposal to dismiss the Assembly of KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija. 

After the deputies dismissed the current members of the Assembly of KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija, the deputies in the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton unanimously elected a new acting assembly of KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija consisting of three members for a term of three months. 

We remind you that the KS Assembly, with 11 votes in favor, eight abstentions, and eight against, did not adopt the Report of KJKP Vodovod i kanalizacija for 2016.

During the discussion led by the deputies, it was emphasized that it is unacceptable for Sarajevo to be left without water in the 21st century. On the other hand, several deputies stated that the problems in VIK have not existed since yesterday, but are the result of the past 20 years.
