SDP BiH rallies in Lukavac, Banovići and Živinice

At the rallies held in Banovići, Živinice and Lukavac, Denis Bećirović, candidate for member of the BiH Presidency, emphasized: „Our country and its people are victims of policies that offer chauvinism, nationalism and primitivism, but not as an idea they stand behind, but as a facade for the enrichment of individuals at the expense of all BiH citizens.

Such policies humiliate all people of this country. Such policies have created a country where workers cannot live from their work. We will once again create a BiH where workers can live from their work. A country where workers can educate their children from their work and a country where the working family will again be happy and satisfied. That is a great goal, but our citizens do not accept anything less, we do not accept anything less. Anything less is simply not enough and that goal must be achieved,“ said Bećirović.

Nermin Nikšić, president of the SDP BiH, emphasized that the SDP, in Plan 10, proposed a set of reform measures to relieve employers and enable an increase in workers' incomes.

„We will relieve businesses and significantly reduce taxes on workers' incomes. This will create room for increasing the minimum and average wages for workers, and that increase will happen. The first law we will pass will be the one on the minimum wage.

Our goal is that in the next four years, BiH becomes a society where workers do not work more than five days. Today, thousands of workers work six or seven days. These people are not workers, but modern slaves. BiH will not be a country of slaves, but of free and satisfied workers. Do not forget, we fulfill our promises. Pensioners know this, to whom we increased pensions twice, miners, to whom we increased salaries and benefits, and construction workers who built our highway. I am sure that citizens will not allow themselves to be deceived again by those for whom the pinnacle of success is opening sidewalks and transformer stations," said Nikšić.

The rallies were also addressed by Mirnes Mujić, president of the SDP Banovići Municipal Organization, mayors of Lukavac and Živinice municipalities Edin Delić and Samir Kamenjaković, Dževad Hadžić, bearer of the SDP list for the Assembly of Tuzla Canton, Hasan Muratović and Zlatko Ercegović, bearers of lists for the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, and Enver Bijedić, bearer of the SDP list for the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
