Money collected for treatment of Ernese Kunalić

Admir Kunalić, the husband of seriously ill Ernese from Sarajevo, informed the public via his Facebook profile that the money for her treatment has been collected, reports the Patria agency.

- My dear friends,

I am overjoyed to be able to tell you now that we have collected all the money for the complete therapy needed by my wife. Therefore, our campaign is over. Our set goal has been fully achieved.  

What has been happening in our lives over the past seven days is hard to describe. The support we have received is absolutely stunning and incredible. Thank you all. Words are simply insufficient at this moment.

With God's help, towards better and more beautiful, sunnier days of our lives – said Ernese's husband Admir Kunalić.

After two surgeries and three cycles of chemotherapy, Ernese Kunalić needs to start a new therapy and take the drug Olaparib (Lynparza), which is extremely expensive and is not on the list covered by health insurance in our country. 

The captain of our national football team, Edin Džeko, also joined the campaign and bought the medication for the first month of treatment.
