Hidden World War: US Defends Its Geopolitical Interests in BiH, EU Defends Democracy and Itself as a Union

The complicated and extremely difficult situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina is no simpler, nor is a solution in sight even after the debate held in the European Parliament. However, after everything we have heard, it is clear that the European Union is defending democracy, freedoms, and ultimately itself as the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the other hand, the United States of America is defending its geopolitical interests in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Dayton Peace Agreement, of which they are the authors and guarantors!

If the international community also 'gives up' on Bosnia and Herzegovina, we will be forced to defend ourselves. This is clear, it sounds harsh, but anyone who does not see the danger posed by Dragan Čović and Milorad Dodik to Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens does not understand the current situation at all.

Klemen Grošelj, a representative from Slovenia, hinted at what is recognized as the main danger in his discussion.

“This is not just an attack on the region; blocking institutions does not only threaten peace in the region but also the interests of the EU. We cannot allow the madness of nationalism to prevail. We must react immediately, including sanctions. We must ensure that institutions work so that further reforms can be implemented. Neither Dodik nor we will decide on the future of BiH; the citizens will decide in the elections. They must take power away from people like Dodik,” said Grošelj.

The extent and nature of the BiH that Dodik and Čović want could also be concluded by foreign factors who are still talking with this duo at numerous meetings.

Now, on the eve of November 25th, Statehood Day of BiH, there is new evidence that Čović views BiH as important and his only if he is a member of the BiH Presidency. Thus, he scheduled a session of the HDZ Presidency for tomorrow, a holiday, and Google remembers his congratulations on this occasion only from the period when he was a member of the Presidency!?

“We remember and celebrate BiH Statehood Day, November 25th, as a historical confirmation of the statehood of our homeland, a community of constituent and equal peoples Serbs, Bosniaks, and Croats, as well as all its inhabitants. Today is not only an occasion for remembrance but a confirmation and renewal of statehood in the hearts and minds of all of us who have been interdependent in these areas for centuries,” Dragan Čović said on the occasion of BiH Statehood Day in 2017.

Since then, he has only congratulated others on their national days, with a special emphasis on Croatia.

Now, with lies, he is creating an environment in which Bosniaks are the problem in their own country, those who love and celebrate it, whether they are in power or not! Yes, they are a problem for Dragan and Milorad!

The Dragan Čović - Milorad Dodik axis is not resting. For years, this duo has been working step by step, patiently to break up the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the greatest danger to its existence lies precisely in their anti-state and anti-Bosnian policies, which they are now presenting as a desire for Bosniak unitarism!

Unfortunately, the consciousness of the people is not yet developed enough to understand this 'palatable story' of a false fight for equality as a basis for dividing the territory and further closing themselves into ethno-national enclaves that bring no good to anyone except the 'leaders'.

Both Dodik and Čović have been strategizing for years with a strategy of lobbying and exhausting the international community to the extreme. They have found allies and are now just waiting for Brussels to say that it can no longer continue like this and that it is time for a peaceful separation into three small states, or a union of states as Dodik envisions it.

And, just one move would be enough for BiH to breathe freely, and for the transfer of competencies, the rattling of weapons, war-mongering rhetoric, the revival of the so-called HRHB and Karađorđevo to become part of the dark pages of this country's history.

Decisiveness from the international community is needed, not only towards Dodik and Čović but also towards neighboring countries Croatia and Serbia, as well as some of their European partners, with a clear message that everyone should leave BiH alone. 

This will be precisely stated in his address by Fabio Massimo Castaldo, an independent representative from Italy, who said that a hidden world war is being waged in BiH, in which all world powers are directly or indirectly involved, and that this shows all the contradictions of the third millennium.

"Many still have illusions that a solution can be found in BiH. Dodik is not the only problem; many external actors are also to blame, including some from the EU who are increasingly moving away from the values on which the EU is based," said Castaldo, calling for sanctions against Dodik.
