Nearly three thousand cyclists rode in the 11th Giro di Sarajevo

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The citizens' association “Giro di Sarajevo“ organized the 11th recreational bicycle ride through the streets of Sarajevo. 

Participation in today's ride, according to the organizers' assessment, was taken by nearly 3,000 cyclists.

This year's ride was held under the motto "Circle Forward", which symbolizes a step forward for BiH by bicycle towards Europe.

The race started at 2:00 PM in front of the ''Skender Kulenović'' school in Dobrinja, and the column of cyclists joined the main city road in Nedžarići, riding along it all the way to the City Hall, then to Marijin Dvor, with the finish line at Vilsonovo Promenade. 

After the race, a concert was scheduled at Vilsonovo Promenade, and it should be noted that participation was free. Children under the age of ten were not allowed to participate for safety reasons.
