A jump without applause from the Old Bridge paid tribute to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide

(Patria) - With a jump without applause by Emil Tiro from the "Mostari" Diving Club, at 11:07 AM from the Old Bridge into the Neretva River, a symbolic tribute was paid to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide in 1995.

In this way, a message was sent to the whole world from the UNESCO monument that the Srebrenica genocide must not be forgotten or repeated.

– Any word is superfluous, silence says a lot. As long as the "Mostari" Diving Club exists, we will remember the victims of the genocide so that it is never repeated and what happened in Srebrenica in 1995 is never forgotten – said Adela Gosto from the "Mostari" Diving Club.

With a one-minute siren announcement today in Mostar, as well as in other cities in the FBiH, at exactly 12 PM, the 28th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide was marked.
