Skočibušić Ignores the FBiH Government: How Is It Possible That He Holds Two Director Positions Simultaneously?

(Patria) - Siniša Skočibušić, director of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH, also holds the position of director of the Center for Addiction Treatment in Mostar. The Government of the Federation of BiH has no adequate explanation, while Skočibušić even ignores questions forwarded to him by the Government.

Namely, Skočibušić, as a cadre of the HDZ BiH, was appointed director of the Institute for Public Health of the Federation of BiH in November 2021 for a four-year term. At that time, he was already serving as director of the Center for Addiction Treatment in Mostar, where he remains director today.

Although officials in the FBiH Government unofficially told Patria that this is impossible, everything is possible in BiH, especially when it comes to cadres from the south, appointed and nominated by Dragan Čović.

A clerk at the Center in Mostar who answered the phone confirmed that "Skočibušić manages both the Center and the Institute for Public Health of the FBiH."

After that, we officially sent questions to the Government of the Federation of BiH, requesting clarification of the situation.

However, the query we sent was forwarded by the FBiH Government to the Institute for Public Health, which ignores such a query, just as they did earlier when we wrote the first article.

"Given that this Office does not have the requested information nor is it within its competence, we are forwarding the subject query for your consideration and provision of information within your competence," was written from the FBiH Government to the Institute for Public Health.

And then silence ensued; neither does the FBiH Government receive a response, nor do they seem interested in resolving such a problem, nor has Patria ever received a coherent explanation for the fact that Skočibušić holds two director positions simultaneously!

The article revealing that Skočibušić sits on two chairs was published on December 5, but since then there has been no official reaction, indicating that the Federation Government finds such an issue uninteresting, as well as other issues concerning the highly non-transparent procurement of methadone that the Center in Mostar acquires for the treatment of addicts!?
