Skiing: Novi Grad primary school students receive diplomas, second group starts training

The five-day ski school for the first group of Novi Grad primary school students ended on Friday, February 6. In the first shift at Igman's Malo Polje, 120 sixth-grade students from primary schools "Mehmedalija Mak Dizdar", "Fatima Gunić", "Aleksa Šantić", "Ćamil Sijarić", "Skender Kulenović" and "Osman Nuri Hadžić" attended the ski school, announced the Novi Grad Municipality, as reported by the Patria agency.

The participants successfully mastered the basic techniques of alpine skiing, and to their great joy, by the third day of training, everyone was using the ski lifts independently. On the last day, a final test was organized, after which the new skiers were awarded diplomas.

Malo Polje will be full of Novi Grad primary school students next week as well, as the second shift starts on Monday for students from primary schools "Osman Nakaš", "Džemaludin Čaušević", "Avdo Smailović", "Umihana Čuvidina", "Behaudin Selmanović", "Sokolje" and "Dobroševići".

The alpine ski school is a project that the Novi Grad Municipality has been implementing this year in cooperation with the ZOI '84 Public Company, with the aim of developing healthy habits among students, as well as a love for our Olympic mountains and winter sports.
