Skiing can begin: Heavy snowfall on the mountains

Bosnia and Herzegovina will experience cloudy weather with rain, and in the higher areas of Bosnia with snow, reports the Patria news agency.

As citizens currently on the mountains of Bosnia and Herzegovina report, snow is already falling there, which at this moment suits tourism workers and companies maintaining these Bosnian beauties.

- In the northwestern areas of Bosnia, sleet and snow are expected. More intense precipitation in Herzegovina. Between 20 and 40 l/m2 are expected, and in southeastern Herzegovina up to 60 l/m2. Towards the end of the day and in the evening hours, a weakening and cessation of precipitation is expected. Wind in Bosnia light north and northwest, and in Herzegovina light to moderate, southwest. Daytime temperatures 1 to 5, in the south from 8 to 12 °C – says the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.

Incidentally, in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina, yellow and orange warnings have been issued for today, indicating a danger from wind speeds of up to 40 km/h and 30-60 mm of rain. A yellow warning has been issued for Sarajevo due to strong wind.
