Scandalous Vote in Parliament: President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Can Pardon Pedophiles!

Deputies in the FBiH Parliament adopted amendments to the Law on Pardons, according to which it remains in force that the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina can pardon all prisoners, except for those convicted of war crimes and genocide, reports the reporter of the BiH news agency Patria.

Deputies from the SDP, DF, and Our Party today, at the session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, sought to include amendments in the changes to the Law on Pardons that would extend the ban on pardoning war criminals to pedophiles, rapists, drug dealers, and terrorists, but such amendments were not adopted, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

Also, according to the amendments to the Law on Pardons adopted today, the provision remains by which convicts pardoned by the President of the Federation are allowed to erase their stains, so that after that, convicts for pedophilia can easily get jobs in kindergartens or elementary schools.

Finally, the Parliament concluded that the amendments proposed by the opposition today will be taken into consideration during the next amendment of the Law on Pardons, writes NAP.
