SCANDAL! Why did the ACADEMIC SOCIETY OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA host Karadžić's demographer!?

A very interesting session is being held today at the Academic Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is about the Scientific Symposium: Demographic changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2013 to 2024: Challenges and recommendations.

Eminent experts will speak at it, names that rightly deserve respect and whose opinions should, and must, be taken into account.

However, one name simply stands out, writes Politicki.ba.

Prof. Dr. Stevo Pašalić, as announced by the ASBiH, will speak on "Recent demographic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2013-2024) and economic determinants of fertility variation".

This same Prof. Dr. Stevo Pašalić, for example, testified in the trial of convicted war criminal Radovan Karadžić.

"In the continuation of the trial of the former President of Republika Srpska, Radovan Karadžić, the defense's demographic expert Stevo Pašalić (decorated for his work in Republika Srpska) completed his testimony. He came to dispute the findings of the prosecution's demographic expert Eva Tabo about the change in the composition of the Bosnian and Herzegovinian population after the ethnic cleansing in 1992.

After Pašalić claimed that Tabo used incorrect data, the prosecution confronted Karadžić's witness with his failed attempt to become the Minister of Education of Republika Srpska, due to nationalist views expressed in school textbooks, which, according to him, are still used in the aforementioned entity.

According to demographer Pašalić, the findings of the Hague prosecution's expert on ethnic cleansing in 20 municipalities in Bosnia and Herzegovina were made tendentiously. Such as, for example, the conclusion that in the municipality of Prijedor, after 1992, the total number of Bosniaks in the population decreased from 40 to only one percent," reported Radio Free Europe in detail on March 14, 2013.

He also stated at the time that "the findings of the prosecution's expert Tabo – about over 8000 Srebrenica victims, as well as about the intentional targeting of Sarajevo citizens due to the large number of killed and wounded – were also rigged according to Pašalić," this media further states.

Pašalić also disputed the results of the 2013 census, claiming that 'there are too many Bosniaks'.

He did not hide his stance that there was no genocide in Srebrenica either...

Politicki.ba sent an inquiry to the Academic Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina asking them to explain the participation of a close associate of Karadžić at the round table.
