Scandal rocks White House: Pedophile guarded Obama

Li Mur sent explicit messages and photos to a number he thought belonged to a 14-year-old girl. And all this while he was on duty at the White House!, reports the Patria News Agency.

A Secret Service agent has been accused of sending obscene photos and text messages to a girl he believed to be 14 years old.

However, Li Robert Mur was sending messages and photos to an undercover police officer, according to federal court in Wilmington, Delaware.

Mur (37) surrendered to the police on Monday after being placed on "administrative leave".

He had a preliminary hearing on Friday before the District Court where he was charged with two counts: soliciting sexual services from a person under 18 and providing obscene material to a minor.

Mur is accused of having online conversations while on duty, and once asked an undercover officer to "send something exciting" while checking IDs at the entrance to the White House.

Authorities reported that Delaware State Police detectives created a fake profile of a 14-year-old girl on the social network "Meet24", and she was contacted in August by Rob, who said he was 30 years old and from Maryland.

They agreed to communicate via the Kik app, which allows the exchange of photos and videos.

- Mur soon turned the chat into a sexual correspondence. He wrote that he would like to come to Delaware and meet for sex. Mur clearly knew he was talking to a 14-year-old girl - said Detective Kevin McKay.

When he was told on November 8th to go on "administrative leave", Mur sent a final message to the undercover officer: "I don't think we should talk anymore."

According to the indictment, Mur admitted to sending and receiving explicit photos. He also admitted to contacting other users of the "Meet24" site whom he believed to be underage girls.

The Secret Service issued a statement emphasizing that the entire case was forwarded to the Office of Professional Responsibility on November 6th.
