Skaka on Bandić's death: Rest in peace, friend

The Mayor of Sarajevo, Abdulah Skaka, posted on Facebook following the sudden death of the Mayor of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, and extended his condolences to his family and the residents of the Croatian capital.

- I was deeply saddened by the news that the mayor of the friendly city of Zagreb, Milan Bandić, has suddenly passed away.

The Croatian capital has lost a long-time leader who lived and worked for his city and its residents. This is confirmed by the fact that he was entrusted with leading Zagreb for more than two decades.

The cities of Sarajevo and Zagreb, based on the Agreement signed back in 2001, have been connected by twenty years of friendship, partnership, and exceptional cooperation.

I extend my sincerest condolences to the family of the esteemed mayor and all the residents of Zagreb.
