Skaka opened Vidikovac restaurant on Trebević: BiH was defended from here too

(Patria) - Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka congratulated BiH Independence Day from the Vidikovac arrival station of the Trebević cable car, in the area of which a complex facility with diverse amenities has been built.

Accordingly, a fitting video was released, showcasing the entire construction process of this facility, which is considered a capital project within the scope of the Trebević cable car.

It was precisely from this location that Skaka congratulated all citizens on BiH Independence Day. He emphasized that the Vidikovac restaurant is one of the locations from which the independence of our country was defended.

“That is why this project is very important for Sarajevo, and that is why we worked hard. One thing is certain, and that is that Sarajevo and BiH are built and defended through concrete actions and moves. This administration of the City of Sarajevo has shown this, and I am sure that the time ahead will require all of us to diligently build our only homeland, BiH,” said Skaka.

He stressed that it is the duty of young people to learn about the past.

“But also to work in our present, all in order to build a better future,” emphasized Skaka.

The City Administration of Sarajevo emphasized that expressing respect for BiH means revitalizing the symbols of the capital and investing in development projects that have built and continue to build themselves. Thus, as they stated, Sarajevo has gained one of the most beautiful and representative contemporary architectural buildings, the iconic Vidikovac.

“All construction works have been completed, and it is a complex facility with various amenities for all generations, spread over a total of three floors, dominated by a monumental spiral staircase. The newly built Vidikovac can rival any world-class complex and will remain recognizable for its spacious and accessible flat roof, available to all future visitors,” they added.

In addition to indoor facilities, a public space has been created suitable for various cultural events, mini-concerts, literary evenings, and exhibitions.

“Just as it was with the revitalized Trebević cable car, there is no doubt that Vidikovac will also prove that the investment was fully justified,” the City Administration stated.
