HJPC Session on Wednesday and Thursday

(Patria) - The regular session of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council (HJPC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for October 18 and 19.

The first day of work includes, among other things, the consideration of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Law on Amendments to the Law on the HJPC of BiH, as well as the realization of case resolution plans for the period January - September 2023.

An Analytical Report on monitored criminal proceedings in cases of gender-based violence before the courts in FBiH should also be considered.

On the second day of the HJPC session, October 19, appointments are on the agenda, specifically in the Federation of BiH: one judge of the Municipal Court in Živinice; four judges of the Supreme Court of the Federation of BiH and two judges of the Cantonal Court in Livno.

In Republika Srpska: one judge of the Basic Court in Banja Luka; three judges of the Supreme Court of RS; one judge of the District Court in Banja Luka; one judge of the District Court in Prijedor; two judges of the District Court in Bijeljina and one judge of the District Court in Doboj.

Among other things, the consideration of the Information on activities in the area of appointing judges and prosecutors, carried out within the framework of the "EU4Justice" Project, is also planned.
