KS Assembly Session: Decision to Confirm New KS Government, Four New Names

(Patria) - The Sarajevo Canton Assembly will consider the decision to confirm the new composition of the Sarajevo Canton Government at today's session.

Although there were turbulences at yesterday's KS Assembly session, both within the NIP and between the 'trojka', today's vote should not be in question.

The KS Government, which Nihad Uk will continue to lead, has proposed four new ministers: Enis Hasanović for Minister of Health (SDP), Bojan Bošnjak for Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection (Our Party), Adna Mesihović for Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth, and Afan Kalamujić for Minister of Finance of KS, proposed by the Movement for New Generations. Cadres from the Party of BiH are being removed from the KS Government.

The KS Government will also include the current ministers: Darja Softić Kadenić - Ministry of Justice and Administration, Adnan Šteta - Ministry of Transport, Enda Pavić Pečenković - Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Displaced Persons and Refugees, Admir Katica - Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zlatko Mijatović - Ministry of Economy, Naida Hota-Muminović - Ministry of Upbringing and Education, Kenan Magoda - Ministry of Culture and Sports, and Omer Osmanović - Ministry of Veterans' Affairs.

Also on the agenda for the same session will be the work and financial performance reports for 2022 of public institutions in the fields of health, labour and social protection, cultural institutions, as well as the work reports of cantonal public utility companies for the past year, and several other items.

This will also be the last session for assembly member Irfan Čengić, who is taking over as the mayor of Stari Grad. Vedrana Vikić is expected to join the KS Assembly in his place.
