Session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly scheduled for October 3

(Patria) - According to the decision of the Collegium, the Ninth working session of the Sarajevo Canton (KS) Assembly will be held on Tuesday, October 3, in the hall of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, starting at 9 AM.

An extensive agenda of 68 items will be before the deputies.

In addition to parliamentary questions and initiatives, the first part of the session is dedicated to the review of laws, and this time it will be the Proposal of the Law on Public-Private Partnership, and the Draft Law on Commodity Reserves of KS.

In the continuation of the session, the Assembly will also vote on the Proposal of the Decision on naming the park in the area of the Novi Grad Sarajevo Municipality - MZ "Alipašino Polje C II" after the murdered police officers Adis Šehović and Davor Vujinović, and on the allocation of equipment, which is recorded in the fixed assets module of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of KS, to the ownership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Bosansko-podrinjski Canton Goražde.

The Proposal of the Decision on the adoption of the "Energy Needs Balance of Sarajevo Canton for 2022", as well as the Proposal of the Decision on giving consent to the Statute on the amendment of the Statute of the Public Institution Institute for Emergency Medical Aid of Sarajevo Canton will also be on this session.

A larger part of the items on this session is dedicated to the work programs and financial plans of public institutions from the field of culture, then from the domain of labor and social protection, as well as cantonal housing funds for 2023.

Also, the deputies will vote on numerous work reports for 2021 of public utility companies, social institutions, and housing funds.

The Decision on the purchase of plots for the expansion of RCU „Smiljevići“ for the purpose of construction and expansion of the inert material landfill, as well as the Draft Agreement on lease between the Public Enterprise International Airport “Sarajevo” and the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton are included in this agenda.

The Assembly will also decide on the Proposal of the Decision on giving consent for the establishment of the Public Institution „Memorial Center Sarajevo“.

The agenda also includes the Work Report of the Government of Sarajevo Canton for 2021, the Work Report of the Legal Protection Office of Sarajevo Canton for the same year, as well as the Report on the Execution of the Budget of Sarajevo Canton for the same period.

Among the reports will be the Business Report of JP „Television of Sarajevo Canton“ for 2021, the Work and Financial Operations Report of JU „Apoteke Sarajevo“, as well as the Work Report of the University of Sarajevo for 2021 with the Work Program for 2022.
