Session of the FBiH House of Representatives: Their image is blurry, God forbid, but they have no sound at all

(Patria) - Media workers are exposed to all sorts of hardships during this pandemic period. Some have lost their jobs, others have had their salaries reduced, but collectively, the media community in Bosnia and Herzegovina is facing very difficult reporting conditions. 

Much is online, and in a country where modern technology arrives a light year later, this turns into online irritation. 

However, it seems everything comes down to the authorities. Because, as our authorities are, so is the state. And as we are, we still live well. 

In the entity of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which creates a budget of over five billion KM, the largest legislative institution, the Parliament of FBiH, works like a government in exile. 

Thus, the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH has become a kind of prostitute, wandering from hotel to hotel to be able to do something. 

Sometimes at Budnja, sometimes at Hills, but all together it is a perverse system in which those who need to inform the public about the work of this House of Representatives of FBiH have the most problems. 

The few journalists who regularly cover the work of the House of Representatives are in trouble at almost every session of the House. 

They are not allowed on-site because of the epidemic, so they respect the measures. They try using the Cisco Webex system, but it doesn't work, there are too many of them. 

From the hotels, they go on YouTube with the same system, but there is always some problem due to which you hear every tenth representative. Either the link breaks, or the image disappears, it freezes, hums, and so on. 

Today is the 19th regular session of the House of Representatives, and all of us who are forced by work to follow the session have almost gone blind. Because their image is blurry, God forbid, but they have no sound at all. 

It will be better, one day. They will speak up when the mandate nears its end and the budget gap is threatened. 

Then we should laugh at them and send them into the past, and push forward young, educated people who know both technology and politics. 

Because like this, we won't go far.
