SDA Presidency Session: Ahmetović Invited to Explain Why Sarajlić Attacked Him

The session of the SDA Presidency will be held today in Sarajevo starting at 4 PM. The first item on the agenda will be the consideration of the removal of Asim Sarajlić from the position of head of the SDA State Deputies Club, requested by the parliamentary quartet Šemsudin Mehmedović, Salko Sokolović, Sadik Ahmetović and Senad Šepić, reports the Patria news agency.

Sadik Ahmetović, an SDA deputy in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, told Patria today that he is not a member of the party's Presidency, but that he was invited to the session to explain what happened at the session of the SDA Club in the BiH Parliament.

As a reminder, Sarajlić physically attacked Ahmetović during a conversation.  

-I hope that the SDA Presidency will have enough strength to make the right decision that will contribute to the unity and strength of this party, Ahmetović emphasized.

This decision largely depends on whether a kind of reconciliation of the "rebels" within the party will occur. As Patria learns, at the meeting of SDA President Bakir Izetbegović and the four deputies, Sarajlić had no objection to being removed.
