Presidency Session: Who Will All Be Expelled from SDA

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The session of the Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) has begun at the party headquarters in Sarajevo. Unofficially, in addition to the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the session will also discuss the state of affairs in the municipal, cantonal and city committees of the SDA.

The President of the SDA Cantonal Committee Sarajevo, Asim Sarajlić, was late for the session of the SDA Presidency due to an earlier meeting of the Executive Committee of the SDA Cantonal Committee, at which a conclusion was reached that a procedure would be initiated for the dismissal of the Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton, Elmedin Konaković, as well as a decision on his expulsion from the party.

- The Executive Committee of the SDA Cantonal Committee made a decision to initiate the dismissal of Prime Minister Elmedin Konaković, and a series of decisions were also made regarding the expulsion of our former members who have already left the Cantonal Assembly of Sarajevo Canton. We will certainly discuss this topic with our partners as well, because the dismissal of the prime minister also means the dismissal of the government. We will not allow the Canton to cease to function; we must find a model for everything to continue working, but no one can behave like a "Don Quixote" and shout "stop the thief." I am certainly in favor of fighting corruption; you yourselves know that I have a court case and I believe in the rule of law, and that is why I say that judicial authorities should do their job. At least the SDA has not had problems with that, not even when it comes to dismissals that have already occurred - said Sarajlić. 

He will present this conclusion at the session of the SDA Presidency. 

The procedure for expulsion from the party will also be initiated for Kemal Ademović, Mirza Selimbegović and Elvedin Okerić, as well as Nermin Muzur and Tarik Stambolić, who joined Konaković after he announced that he was leaving the SDA. 

After the session of the SDA Presidency, a press conference will be held at which the conclusions will be announced.
