(Patria) - The upcoming session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, to be held on Thursday, June 20, will also include the Initiative for the Reconstruction of the BiH Council of Ministers, i.e., the proposal for the dismissal of the Minister of Security in the BiH Council of Ministers, Nenad Nešić. The proposer of this item is the SDA Caucus, consisting of Šerif Špago, Edin Ramić, Safet Kešo, Amor Mašović, Denijal Tulumović, Nermin Mandra, Šemsudin Dedić, and Midhat Čaušević.
The initiative states that on May 21, in the show Ćirilica, broadcast nationally in Serbia, Nenad Nešić insulted all victims of the genocide in Srebrenica and denied the genocide.
"With this statement, the appointee has potentially become a perpetrator of a criminal offense prescribed by Article 145a, paragraphs 1, 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Criminal Code of BiH, for which a prison sentence of at least three years is prescribed.
The SDA Caucus previously emphasized that they expect MPs from other parliamentary parties, especially those who voted for Nešić's appointment as BiH Minister of Security, to support the aforementioned Initiative.
Although there will likely be no votes from MPs from Republika Srpska for Nešić's dismissal, this will be an opportunity for the MPs of the 'trojka' parties, whose leaders praised Nešić as the best minister from Republika Srpska in the BiH Council of Ministers, to clearly state their position.
