NSRS Session: Labour Law Remains in Urgent Procedure

The NSRS session continued after a break of more than two hours, but the Labour Law remains on the agenda and in urgent procedure.

17:31 The opposition's proposal for the laws to be moved to the regular procedure did not receive the necessary majority.

17:30 Outside the assembly, Dragan Lukač, Minister of Internal Affairs, and Mišić spoke briefly. Lukač told Mišić that as the organizer of the protest, she bears responsibility and that she should not call people to violence. He added that if Mišić calls people to violence again, she will be held responsible, after which Mišić temporarily withdrew.

The session of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, where the Labour Law is to be considered under an urgent procedure, was interrupted after the President of the Trade Union Alliance, Ranka Mišić, entered the building of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

She entered with about 40 other people, and there are strong police forces around the building, with snipers even deployed on the roofs.

Otherwise, workers started protesting today, dissatisfied with the Labour Law, and it is possible they will enter the NSRS building.
