Session awaited for days: D-Day for the BiH Premier League

(Patria) - For several days now, there have been speculations and guesses about what will happen with the current season in BiH, and the final decision could be known today. Unofficial information suggests that the Competition Committee will deliberate today and make a decision, which will then be forwarded to the Executive Board for voting.

As things stand, the season will be interrupted, and the biggest enigma revolves around the potential awarding of the title, relegation to a lower league, and promotion to the Premier League, writes sportsport.ba

The latest unofficial information says that Sarajevo will be the champion, Čelik and Zvijezda 09 will leave the top flight, while Olimpik and Krupa will take their place. Besides Sarajevo, if the season is interrupted, which is the most realistic scenario, Željezničar, Zrinjski, and Borac will represent our country in Europe.

Among the first to arrive was committee member Rudolf Marić, and then the others joined him.

There were no statements for the media before the meeting.

The Competition Committee has seven members. The president is Milorad O. Lale, while the vice-presidents are Dalibor Šantić and Suad Salibašić.

Besides Marić, the committee members are Dušan Marković and Mirsad Drljević. The seventh and alternate member is Rodoljub Oljača.
